I met with a midwife today that I love. I'm not even going to meet the other midwives. Maria is so nice, really listened and was understanding. I like that she is on call 24/7, if anything comes up. I like that she is with me the entire time I am in labor. I like that she is supportive of whatever I want, as long as it is safe for me and baby. My past doctor was not supportive of natural birth, actually laughed at me when I told her I didn't want any drugs.
I also got to tour the hospital where I will give birth. It is right next to Maria's office. It is a small hospital, very low key, with new facilities. I am feeling good about this.
